How to install ChickHEN on PSP 3006

Requirements
A PSP 3000 with firmware version 5.03. You can check your firmware version by going to Settings > System Settings > System Information.
A memory stick with at least 256 MB of free space.
A USB cable to connect your PSP to your computer.

Steps
Extract the easy installer for ChickHEN R2 to a folder on your computer. You should see a folder named "ChickHEN" and a file named "h.bin".
Connect your PSP to your computer using the USB cable and enable USB mode on your PSP.
Copy the "ChickHEN" folder and the "h.bin" file to the root of your memory stick. The root is the main directory that contains folders like "PSP", "MUSIC", etc.
Disconnect your PSP from your computer and exit USB mode.
Go to Photo > Memory Stick on your PSP and scroll down to the last photo. You should see a picture of a chicken with green feathers. Press X to open it.
If everything goes well, your PSP screen will flash green and reboot into ChickHEN mode. You can check if you are in ChickHEN mode by going to Settings > System Settings > System Information. You should see "5.03 ChickHEN R2" as your firmware version.
If nothing happens or your PSP freezes, turn off your PSP and try again. It may take several attempts before ChickHEN works.
Once you are in ChickHEN mode, connect your PSP to your computer again and enable USB mode.
Extract the 5.03 GEN-A file to a folder on your computer. You should see a folder named "PSP" and a file named "550.PBP".
Copy the "PSP" folder and the "550.PBP" file to the root of your memory stick, overwriting any existing files.
Disconnect your PSP from your computer and exit USB mode.
Go to Game > Memory Stick on your PSP and run the "5.03 GEN-A Full" program.
Follow the instructions on the screen to install 5.03 GEN-A CFW on your PSP.
After the installation is complete, your PSP will reboot into 5.03 GEN-A CFW mode. You can check if you are in CFW mode by going to Settings > System Settings > System Information. You should see "5.03 GEN-A (Full)" as your firmware version.
If you want to update to 5.03 GEN-B CFW, which has more features and compatibility, repeat steps 9-14 with the 5.03 GEN-B file instead of the 5.03 GEN-A file.
